RT=Really Terrific!

Romantic Times has just announced the nominees for their annual Career Achievement and Reviewer’s Choice Awards, and every time we look at the list we seem to find another one of our fabulous clients on it:

First off, Shannon McKenna is up for a Career Achievement Award in Romantic Suspense.
In Reviewer’s Choice her FADE TO MIDNIGHT is nominated for Best Paranormal Romantic Suspense, along with Ann Christopher’s DEADLY PURSUIT for Best Romantic Suspense.

In the Historical category, Elizabeth Boyle’s MAD ABOUT THE DUKE is nominated for Best Historical Love and Laughter, with Kasey Michaels’ HOW TO WED A BARON up in the same category and Karen Hawkins’ ONE NIGHT IN SCOTLAND for Best Scotland-Set Historical Romance.

BEADED HOPE by Cathy Liggett is in the running for Best Inspirational Novel.

And last but certainly not least, in Series Romance POISONED KISSES by Stephanie Dray is up for Best First Series, ZOE AND THE TORMENTED TYCOON by Kate Hewitt and EXPOSED: MISBEHAVING WITH THE MAGNATE by Kelly Hunter are vying for Best Harlequin Presents, Rae Anne Thayne has two books nominated for Best Silhouette Special Edition—A COLD CREEK BABY and A THUNDER CANYON CHRISTMAS, alongside with Nancy Robards Thompson’s AN ACCIDENTAL FATHER in the same category. Finally, THE OUTLAW’S BRIDE by Catherine Palmer is nominated for Best Steeple Hill Love Inspired Historical.

Whew!

Twice As Nice!

Dan Walsh picked up two Carol Awards at this year’s ACFW Conference in Indianapolis—one for Debut Author and another for Short Historical, both for THE UNFINISHED GIFT (Revell, Andrea Doering, editor).  Truly inspiring, Dan!

Up Top Down Under!

We’re thrilled for Tracey O’Hara, winner of her very own R*BY award at the 2010 Romance Writers of Australia Conference in Sydney last month.  Readers voted NIGHT’S COLD KISS best in the Romantic Elements category and sent Tracey home with a sparkling red “Ruby” for her shelf.  Our compliments to Tracey (and to all those astute Aussie readers for their excellent taste)!

...But A Perfect Win!

Beth Andrews’ A NOT-SO-PERFECT PAST (Harlequin Superromance, Victoria Curran, editor) earned a RITA Award® for Best Contemporary Series Romance at this year’s RWA National Conference.  Cheers to the wonderful Beth, and to all the talented RITA and Golden Heart winners!

Well Done!

Congratulations to our five 2010 RITA Awards® Finalists:
